TryDuo

Terms and Privacy

TryDuo is an independent 3D viewer and a live auction for 30-minute sponsored takeovers of both Duo screens. It is not affiliated with Apple. By using the site, bidding, or publishing a campaign, you agree to these terms.

Terms of use

The takeover

A winning bid authorizes a card hold and, if you win, a charge for exclusive use of both Duo screens for one UTC half-hour slot. Bidding closes when that slot starts. Outbid holds may remain until the slot ends so a rejected leader can be replaced by the previous eligible bidder. You are not charged unless your bid wins and is captured.

Published content

Campaign names, destination URLs, and creatives are public as soon as they are created. A moderator may reject or disable any campaign at any time. If you are leading or live, the previous eligible bidder is restored.

You may not publish content that is harmful or otherwise prohibited, including:

You represent that you have the rights to every name, image, and URL you submit, and that visitors may be sent to that URL. You grant TryDuo a worldwide license to host, display, and cache your creatives for the auction and any winning slot, and to keep records needed for payments, moderation, and abuse response.

Payments

Card authorizations and charges are processed by Stripe. TryDuo does not store full card numbers. Refunds of captured charges, when issued, subtract Stripe’s actual processing fee. Late checkout confirmations after a slot starts are ineligible.

The model

The 3D Duo is an independent reconstruction using Apple’s published dimensions and supplied assets. Folding between poses is an approximation. TryDuo is provided as-is, without warranties, and may change or go offline without notice.

Privacy

We collect only what we need to run the viewer, the auction, and moderation.

We do not sell personal information. We share data with infrastructure providers that host the app, database, file storage, and payments, and if required by law. Sponsored takeovers are public: your sponsor name, creatives, and destination are visible to visitors.

To ask about deletion of a campaign or contact email, use the email you submitted on the campaign. We may retain payment and moderation records as required for disputes, fees, and safety.
